    — Extra Coating
PPGI can also be enhanced with various advanced coatings to improve its performance and durability.
    Typical coating includes:
    • 1 PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride): Known for its exceptional resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and weathering, PVDF provides a glossy finish that retains color vibrancy over time. This makes it ideal for outdoor applications, particularly in architectural projects.
    • 2 HDP (High-Durability Polyester): HDP coatings offer superior durability and scratch resistance, making them suitable for high-traffic areas and industrial environments. They protect against corrosion and environmental factors, extending the lifespan of the material.
    • 3 EP (Epoxy Polyester): This coating combines the benefits of epoxy and polyester, providing excellent adhesion and resistance to chemicals and moisture. EP coatings are ideal for indoor applications and environments where chemical exposure is a concern.

These advanced coatings significantly enhance the functionality and longevity of surface, making it a preferred choice for various applications in construction and manufacturing.

More About PIR/PUR Sandwich Roof Panel
    • 🌡️ High Thermal Insulation Value: PUR foam has one of the lowest thermal conductivity among thermal insulation materials, usually about 0.022–0.025 W/m·K. This high insulation value minimizes heat transfer and ensures the building's energy efficiency.
    • Lightweight: Although PUR panels have strong insulating properties, they are lightweight, which simplifies handling and installation. This feature reduces the overall structural load on the building, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
    • 💧 Moisture Resistant: The closed-cell structure of polyurethane foam prevents moisture absorption, which is critical to maintaining the integrity of your roof and preventing problems like mold and mildew.
    • 🛡️ Durability: PUR boards are resistant to a variety of environmental factors, including chemicals, UV radiation, and physical impact. This durability ensures a long service life, reducing the need for frequent maintenance or replacement.
PUR (Polyurethane) / PIR (Polyisocyanurate) sandwich roofing panels are an excellent choice for modern construction due to their high heat resistance, lightness, moisture resistance and durability. Its unique construction enables efficient temperature control, making it essential in a variety of applications from industrial and commercial buildings to agricultural buildings and cold storage facilities. As industries continue to prioritize energy efficiency and sustainability, demand for PUR panels is likely to grow, cementing its role as the cornerstone of contemporary roofing solutions. By investing in PUR sandwich roof panels, businesses can ensure the integrity of their buildings while optimizing operating costs and minimizing environmental impact.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Q What is the difference between PIR and PUR sandwich roof panels?
PIR (Polyisocyanurate) and PUR (Polyurethane) are both foam-core insulation materials used in sandwich panels. PIR has a higher fire resistance rating (B1) and slightly higher density (43±2 kg/m³) compared to PUR (B2, 40±2 kg/m³). PIR also offers a marginally better heat transfer coefficient (≤0.022 W/m·K vs ≤0.024 W/m·K), making it the preferred choice for projects with stricter fire and thermal requirements.
Q What thickness options are available for the sandwich roof panels?
Our standard sandwich roof panels are available at 100mm thickness with an effective width of 1000mm and lengths ranging from 1 to 18 meters. Custom thickness options can be arranged based on specific project requirements — please contact us for more details.
Q What surface materials can be customized for the sandwich roof panels?
Our sandwich roof panels support a wide range of surface materials including PPGI (Prepainted Galvanized Iron), Stainless Steel (SUS304/SUS201), Embossed Aluminum, and special alloys such as Ti-Mg-Zn-Al. Surface thickness ranges from 0.3mm to 0.8mm and can be further enhanced with coatings such as PVDF, HDP, or EP for improved durability and performance.
Q What is the minimum roof slope recommended for these panels?
Our PIR/PUR sandwich roof panels are designed to work effectively with a minimum roof slope of just 3%, thanks to the three-wave crest design with a crest height of 36mm that significantly improves drainage performance even at low pitches.
Q What are the main applications for PIR/PUR sandwich roof panels?
PIR/PUR sandwich roof panels are widely used across industrial buildings, commercial facilities, agricultural structures, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and cold storage facilities. Their combination of thermal insulation, lightweight construction, moisture resistance, and ease of installation makes them suitable for virtually any building type requiring energy-efficient roofing.
Q Can the color and finish of the panels be customized?
Yes. We offer fully customized color services for PPGI surface panels. Whether you need standard colors or specific RAL/custom shades, our team can accommodate your requirements. Please contact us directly with your color specifications and we will provide tailored solutions for your project.
